Salvatore "Lucky" Sorrentino was born in  Brooklyn New York in 1923. Lucky was a 40mm bofor's gunner during World War II and saw action in the European Theater with the 204th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion / Baker Company. He landed on Omaha beach, was in the Battle of the Bulge, and saw action throughout France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. |
